The two-story venue on a busy corner on Fremont Street is now home to Zai, a Mexican restaurant which got its start in Tepatitlán Jalisco. The menu draws on global dining for its broad, if somewhat chaotic, menu. For tequila and mezcal, Misterio has a stocked bar of choices. And the cocktails incorporate flavors like watermelon, guava, and Tajin. Make it a meal with tacos, shrimp cocktail, or crunchy empanadas.

The Triple Down Bar

The local legend behind the preeminent Las Vegas dive bar the Double Down Saloon and the tiki bar Frankie’s Tiki Room has opened a new drinking destination inside the Punk Rock Museum. While P Moss’s new bar, called the Triple Down, isn’t quite as divey as his other haunts, it functions as a familiar type of space where punk rock fans and musicians can throw back shots with a PBR chaser and reminisce over the last 45 years of punk.

Golden Monkey Tiki Lounge

Las Vegas’s newest tiki lounge, and the only one on the Strip, takes over the Genting Palace lounge. Working with the lounge’s pre-existing bold colors, tropical upholstery, and monkey statues, the bar added some surfboards on the wall, glasses of seashells, and a menu of traditional and signature tiki-style cocktails.

Flight Club

In the spirit of axe-throwing bars, this dart bar offers you and your party a private lane to throw darts. The board even does the scoring for you. While playing, nosh on finger foods like yuzu guacamole, mini beef barbacoa tacos, Bavarian pretzel sticks with pimento cheese spread, Buffalo chicken sandwiches. Inside, there’s also a bar that looks like a carousel at which you can order drinks.

Pier 17 Yacht Club

Snake through a row of hedges to the side of the Absinthe show tent in order to find the outdoor seating area that leads into a cozy wood-paneled speakeasy-style bar. The drinks here skew sophisticated, with suggestive names but classic flavors. The Big Duke Energy, pastel pink and sweetened with apricot, is grounded with scotch, port, and bitters. The Tantric Turnbuckle employs mezcal, aloe, lime, cucumber, and wormwood, for a cool take on a margarita. And the Gazerac — so named for the show’s Gazillionaire character — is a traditional sazerac. Absinthe tickets not required.
