Where to Dine on Christmas Eve in Las Vegas: 2019 Edition
A guide to 22 restaurants serving a special Christmas Eve dinner
MRKT Sea & Land at Aliante Casino has a special Christmas menu on Christmas Eve from 5 p.m. to close for $75 with a choice of lobster bisque, chive crème, or a Boston Bibb salad. For the main course, MRKT will serve a Chilean seabass paired with king crab, truffle risotto, and asparagus jus. Dessert will feature a chocolate raspberry torte with apricot coulis.
Redwood Steakhouse at the California has a Christmas Eve specials for $49 from 4 p.m. to close. The Christmas Eve dinner special includes butternut squash soup as the starter; broiled rib cap steak served with whipped Yukon potatoes and maple-glazed carrots as the main entrée; and a chocolate ganache torte for dessert.
Both locations of VegeNation are open December 24, until 7 p.m. at the Henderson location and until 8 p.m. downtown. Specials include crab Rangoon for $9, spinach and mushroom lasagna for $14, and pumpkin pecan cheesecake for $8.
Top of the World
Top of The World at the Strat will offer a four-course meal in its rotating dining room, located more than 800 feet high. The menu includes ratatouille tartlet, roasted mushroom soup, or a baby green salad, confit of duck leg, cabernet braised short ribs, and an eggnog custard tart for dessert. The holiday dinner, priced at $125 per person plus tax and gratuity, will be available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
BLVD & Main Taphouse
BLVD & MAIN Taphouse at the Strat has a three-course dinner with a mixed greens salad, slow-roasted prime rib, and Dutch apple pie a la mode for $35 per person from 5 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
McCall's Heartland Grill
McCall’s Heartland Grill at the Strat has a three-course dinner, starting with lemon arugula salad, a 12-ounce ribeye, and a maple bourbon pecan tart for dessert. The dinner, priced at $65 per person plus tax and gratuity, will be available from 5 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
Bazaar Meat by José Andrés
Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at the Sahara has a $95 per person Christmas Eve menu that includes croquetas de pollo (creamy béchamel chicken fritters), jamón Ibérico de bellota hand-cut from the famous black-footed Spanish pig and Ferran Andrià olives served in modern and traditional styles. Then, diners can dive into an array of savory dishes like the Lhardy’s Madrid beef consommé served with sherry and a quail egg; cannelons baked pasta with goose, Iberico pork, and foie gras; and pa’amb tomàquet featuring toasted cristal bread and fresh tomato. Entrees include milk-fed suckling lamb cordero asado with chickpea and spinach stew and Josper-roasted monkfish with mojo rojo and lemon served alongside buttered potato puree, ensalada mixta with tomato, onion, and sherry dressing, and grilled asparagus with romesco sauce. Finish with cream puffs, assorted tarts, and little cakes. The restaurant will be open from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Christmas Eve and will be closed Christmas Day.

For appetizers options, diners can experience butternut squash soup or seared foie gras. Entrée options include dry-aged prime rib, seared sea scallops and rack of lamb. Sides include braised Brussels sprouts with honey crisp apple, loaded sweet potato with spiced pecans and applewood smoked bacon. For dessert, try the chocolate-chestnut tart or cranberry spiced bread pudding. Momofuku at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has a five-spice duck feast on Christmas Eve for $148 per person served family style. The first course includes choices such as a spicy cucumber salad, sansho cabbage, or sourdough bread with crab butter and smoked trout roe. The second course features silverstar wagyu beef roll with chive pancake, hoisin, and cilantro or glazed heritage pork spare ribs with honey, black bean, and scallion. The third course features shrimp in black truffle lobster sauce or blistered long beans with xo sauce and Japanese uni. The fourth course features five-spice roasted duck carved table side and served with crispy rice and fried bones; hokkien noodles with charred cabbage, jalapeno, and sweet soy; or steamed Chinese broccoli with duck crackling and yuzu. Dessert choices include a soymilk sundae with persimmon, asian pear, and pine nut; elephant ears with burnt honey, tangerine, and shaved foie; or herbison cheese and farmer’s market fruit.
STK at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has Linz prime rib with truffle Madeira sauce for $58 on Christmas Eve from 4:30 to 11 p.m. The children’s menu includes 4-ounce beef filet with mac and cheese and sautéed broccoli for $24.
Ferraro's Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar
The Buon Natale (Christmas) menu at Ferraro’s goes for $95 per person on December 23 and Christmas Eve, December 24. The first course served family-style features mozzarella “campania” with Neapolitan fried buffalo mozzarella sandwich, tomato marmalade, and anchovy dressing; tonno “Sicilia” with yellowfin tuna tartare, tomato relish, and marinated eggplant; baccala “Veneto” with poached cod in lightly spicy extra virgin olive oil, escarole, potato, and black olives; and vitello tonnato “Piemonte” with slowly roasted veal, light caper-tuna sauce, and micro lettuce salad. Next, diners choose spaghetti “Calabria” with spaghetti in a spicy lobster sauce; tortellini ”Emilia Romagna” with tortellini in a capon broth; or pici “Toscana” with thick hand-rolled spaghetti and wild boar ragù. For the main course, diners choose capesante “Liguria” with seared scallops, kabocha squash bisque, and baby winter vegetables or abbacchio “Lazio” with roasted lamb leg and rack, artichokes, and potato. Dessert choices include pan e saba “Sardegna” with mixed-nut bread and saba ice cream or panettone “Lombardia” with toasted sweet bread, Nutella foam, and strawberry compote. The restaurant is open December 23 and December 24 from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m.; the restaurant will be closed on Christmas Day.
Mastro's Ocean Club
Mastro’s at the Shops at Crystals will open from 3 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve with a Chateaubriand, a large center-cut roast for $115. The Chateaubriand is sliced and served table-side and served with béarnaise sauce and peppercorn sauce on the side.
Todd's Unique Dining
Todd’s Unique Dining has a Christmas Eve dinner for $60 per person wiith a choice of spicy shrimp cocktail with creamy remoulade sauce; six fresh oysters on the half shell with jalapeño mignonette;
winter greens with roasted peppers, basil, mozzarella, artichoke, and Italian vinaigrette; or
grilled portobello mushroom, smoked salmon, and mushroom demi; or potato and leek soup with spinach cream. Entrée choices include salmon with creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and pepper cream; prime rib au jus with horseradish, corn pudding, and potato; herbed sea bass with creamy seafood risotto and tomato oil; filet of beef with jumbo scallops, asparagus and bearnaise for $10 more; or fall risotto with winter squash, zucchini, and root vegetables. Dessert features apple tart, pecans, brown sugar, and vanilla ice cream.
Twin Creeks Steakhouse
Twin Creeks at the Silverton has a three-course menu for Christmas from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Diners start with a choice of celeriac soup, Panzanella salad, or baked clams oreganata. For the main course, diners can order osso bucco served with creamy polenta and gremolata John Dory served with mushroom risotto cake, blistered tomatoes, and lemon beurre blanc; or the herb-crusted lamb rack with wild mushrooms, carrot puree, mint salad, and truffle pistachio vinaigrette. For dessert, eggnog crème brulee or Santa’s milk and cookies will be served.
