This month, Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains across the Las Vegas Valley will celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. The holiday is a festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. One of the ways in which Diwali is celebrated is with food and drink. In the Las Vegas Valley, there are several exceptional Indian restaurants where one can enjoy the multi-day celebration.
The five-day celebration begins on Sunday, October 23, with the actual Diwali taking place on Monday, October 24, and ends on Thursday, October 27.
While most Indian and South Asian restaurants around the Las Vegas Valley won’t be hosting events for the holiday, these 12 restaurants have menus and buffets that include traditional Diwali fare, with dishes like naan, samosas, and gulab jamun.
