Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar hosts the Feast of the Seven Fishes Christmas dinner on Dec. 23-24. Your audience might be interested in this annual Italian tradition, which includes seven courses spotlighting different seafood dishes. The Buon Natale menu, priced at $95 per person, includes seven fish dishes offered in tasting portions for the occasion polipo alla Siciliana, marinated grilled octopus, black olives, potatoes and capers; tonno, a yellowfin tuna tartare, tomato relish, olive powder, Pantelleria capers, and lemon gel; baccala mantecato, a poached-whip cod in lightly spicy extra virgin olive oil, potato mousse, and polenta chips; crudità di mare, king crab, shrimp, oysters, and mussels; a choice spaghetti aragosta with lobster sauce or pappardelle al tartufo d’Alba, a long, wide pasta with butter and sage sauce and fresh white truffle for a $50 supplement; a choice of capesante with seared scallops, clams, fennel, and crustacean broth, or branzino with seared Mediterranean seabass, artichoke variation, marinated tomato, and sopressata sauce; and Il Babà, a Neapolitan citrus-rum, bagna-soaked sponge cake, pastry cream, mixed-berry chutney, or panettone, a traditional holy day sweet bread with Nutella and strawberry compote.
