Ada’s Wine Bar is teaming up with US Importer and sommelier, Roland Herrmann, from Maisons Marques + Domaines to host a five-course wine dinner. Wine will accompany each of the five courses which include dishes of beet-cured ocean trout, butter-poached oyster tagliatelle with caviar, pork loin roulade, elk loin, and a dessert course. The dinner will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $180 per person and can be purchased at adaslv.com.

Taste and Learn Dinner at Ferraro's Ristorante

Ferraro’s Ristorante hosts its next Taste and Learn on Thursday, December 15 at 6 p.m. The monthly wine-tasting event pairs wine education with a menu of Italian small plates by chef Mimmo Ferraro. The event spotlights wines from the Poggio al Tesoro and Brancaia wineries located in the Bolgheri and Siena winemaking regions of Tuscany. A selection of four wines will accompany courses of red snapper crudo, roasted veal, burrata ravioli, and pounded and breaded prime filet with warm eggplant salad. Tickets for the dinner are $110 per person. To make reservations, call (702) 364-5300.

Gaetano’s is teaming up with Roland Herrmann from Maisons Marques and Domaines to host a five-course wine dinner that features Gaetano’s Italian dishes with wines from around the world. The $150 dinner includes a first course of fritto misto calamari, a pasta course of homemade fetuccinni Alfredo with crab meat, a palate cleanser of lemon sorbetto, a main course of Roman-style porchetta, Tuscan salsa verde, and roasted potatoes. For dessert, there’s a torta della Nonna cake. Each course is paired with a wine from the country in that dish’s style.
