This Thanksgiving Chef Michael Symon and his team at Mabel’s BBQ at the Palms Casino Resort have take-home Thanksgiving dinners for $175 that feed six to eight people. The meal includes a whole smoked turkey, sliced with herb gravy; four sides such as brioche and pecan dressing, roasted green beans with almond, red pepper, and lemon, mashed potatoes with chives and mascarpone, broccoli salad with roasted peanuts and dried cherries, poppy seed coleslaw with red onion and cilantro, hot greens with chopped pork, pit beans with chopped brisket and smoked pork belly, smoked beets with horseradish, spiced mac and cheese with mascarpone and cheddar, or cheddar bacon cornbread with whipped honey butter; and one 9-inch pie (choice of pumpkin, apple, or pecan). Customers can also order a la carte items such as a whole smoked turkey for $100, one pound of Texas-style beef brisket for $30, one pound of pork belly with pastrami spices and mustard glaze for $28, a full rack pork spare ribs (Kansas City, Memphis, or Cleveland style) for $32, one pound of any side for $20, and a 9-inch pie for $25.
