When the Pool Parties of Las Vegas Open for the Season
Bare Pool Lounge
Mirage’s Bare Pool Lounge opened yesterday with its two dipping pools and private cabanas. Brian Massie created the menu here. The pool is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays until April 16, when it adds Mondays. After April 30, the pool is open daily.
Encore Beach Club
Encore Beach Club debuts today with a grand opening party on April 6 with David Guetta. During the regular season, Encore Beach Club is open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with no cover for local ladies and a visitor cover of $30 for women and $40 for men.
Liquid Pool Lounge
The pool party at Aria opened yesterday with its three luxury VIP pools. Look for a 50-seat poolside dining from executive chef Brian Massie. The pool features eight grand cabanas equipped with a 40-inch flat screen TV and mini-fridge, 34 chaise lounge chairs and 28 day beds, The pool is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday until April 22, when it’s open daily.
Marquee Dayclub plans to have a soft opening schedule starting today through Sunday and for the next two weekends after. The pool opens daily starting April 5 with its three-story bungalow loft, complete with cabana, living quarters, grand Las Vegas pool cabanas with infinity pools and a party deck on top.
Palms Pool & Bungalows
The Palms Pool officially opens today with a Ditch Fridays kickoff party with Busta Rhymes on May 3. The two acres of swimming pools accommodate up to 3,000 guests. The Glass Bar is located under an elevated, glass-bottomed deck. The Waterfall Bar is hidden behind a cascading, 12-foot waterfall. Cool off inside one of 27 cabanas decked out with televisions, speakers with individual volume control, a house phone, lighted fan, refrigerator, safe and luxurious furniture.
Rehab Pool Party
This year marks the 10th year of Rehab, the first dayclub at the Hard Rock Hotel. Party people can cool off by taking a dip in any of Hard Rock’s tropical oases Nirvana Pool, Breathe Pool Lounge and Paradise Beach with more than 50 Tahitian-style cabanas, 25 daybeds and six banquettes combined. VIP cabanas come equipped with plasma TVs, telephone, refrigerator, bottled water and a safe for valuables. Patrons can chose between three different pool experiences for the vibe that best fits their mood. Chevelle plays for the grand opening on May 3.
Tao Beach opens today with a grand opening party on May 4. Find 12 luxury cabanas that feature air-conditioning, high definition plasma screen televisions with gaming consoles, WiFi and customized mini bars. Other amenities include sunglass cleaning and a staff of massage therapists. Asian-inspired day beds are scattered throughout the 18,000-square-foot oasis, which also includes a 30-foot bar where guests can sip on TAO-tinis and TAO-jitos made with fresh exotic ingredients. An extensive appetizer and grill menu is also available.
Venus Pool Club
Inside the Garden of the Gods at Caesars Palace sits Venus Pool Club, celebrating its seventh year. The European-style pool (Read: topless) opens April 22 with cooling Evian face spritzers, frozen towels and poolside body massages. The pool features 11 cabanas, four couches, 14 daybeds and numerous chaise lounge chairs.
Wet Republic Ultra Pool
Wet Republic Ultra Pool returns on Friday, March 22, at the MGM Grand. The renovated pool includes 53,000 square feet of space with an expanded DJ booth and a VIP table directly behind the decks. Other renovations include a new LED display and a 2,500-square-foot open-air lounge with an additional 35 feet of bar space. Party cabanas and bungalows have new furniture. The pool is open Thursday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
